Allied Universal® in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Security Guard Patrol Driver) to provide customer service at an aerospace/defense site. You will perform patrols, verify access, and respond to incidents while upholding our service standards.

The role offers a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, with Fri/Sat night shifts. Pay is $24.18 per hour, with opportunities for growth and benefits through our retirement plan.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, restricted areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with responders.
• Prepare accurate incident and shift reports and communicate information to leadership.

Pay Rate: $24.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
