Metro 1 is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Oakland, CA to provide visible, customer-focused security services for our clients. The role requires maintaining a professional demeanor, patrolling designated areas, and responding to incidents with urgency.

Qualified candidates have a valid state Guard Card, active CCW/BSIS credentials, and at least 5+ years in armed security or related fields. Weekend availability and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid, up-to-date state-issued Guard Card.
• Must have active CCW and BSIS Guard Card.
• Weekend availability is essential.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or longer.
• Minimum 5+ years of armed security/law enforcement/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility to deter incidents.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism.
• Conduct security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
