Job summary

Peralta Associates & Defense is actively seeking full-time Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the Fremont, CA area. The role involves patrolling client sites, observing for suspicious activity, and reporting incidents while delivering high-quality customer service in a security-focused environment.

Qualified candidates hold a valid California Guard Card, Power to Arrest, and Use of Force certificates, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service in security settings.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety, security procedures, and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills.
• Patrol the site on foot to identify potential dangers or criminal activity.
• Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary.
• Maintain accurate reports by documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Issue verbal warnings, make arrests (if applicable), and/or contact law enforcement for security violations or criminal activities.
