Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced for Rialto, CA. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more.

The pay rate is $20.46 per hour, with a fixed-shift anchor and an option to schedule extra shifts through the scheduling platform. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma, and must pass background checks and drug screening where permitted.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site representatives, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and activities.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
