Allied Universal in Rialto, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection. The role involves monitoring government locations, ensuring access control, and maintaining a visible security presence for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approaches.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

Pay Rate: $20.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing pedestrian and vehicle activity in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public-service personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
