Qualifications

• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Protection in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
