Job summary

Insights Training Group LLC is seeking a Security Officer for the Carl D Perkins Job Corps Center. The role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring entrances, and maintaining a safe, secure environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience.
• Background in youth programs or law enforcement preferred.
• Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly and monitor entrance of vehicles and people onto the center.
• Enforce all laws, rules and policies within scope of authority.
• Aids and assists visitors, students and staff as needed.
• Perform building security and safety checks and record electronically.
• Prepare written accident reports and other reports as required.
• Provide transportation service as needed and issue staff vehicles for official business.
• Enforce visitation rules and regulations and monitor main entrance.
• Maintain accountability of department equipment and perform safety duties.
