Manages planning, development, implementation, and oversight for safety and security programs for the Center. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, students and visitors by establishing and enforcing policies and supervising security staff.
To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Computer literacy skills, specifically Internet, e-mail, MS Word and Excel; must be able to work any shift and day of the week; ability to obtain a commercial drivers' license and ability to travel periodic. Requires an extensive knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, health and safety laws.
Minimum three years security experience with a minimum of one year in youth programs or law enforcement. Security or military experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree with three years security experience with one year in a supervisory capacity preferable in a residential setting.
Valid State Drivers' License.
