Job summary

Insights Training Group LLC is seeking a Security Officer for the Carl D Perkins Job Corps Center. The role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring entrances, and maintaining a secure environment in a center setting.

The position requires at least two years of related experience, preferably including residential living or youth program or law enforcement background, and a high school diploma or equivalent (an Associate Degree is preferred). A valid state driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience. At least one year in a residential living setting and background in youth programs or law enforcement is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Patrols premises regularly and monitors entrances to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Enforces laws, rules and center policies during duties.
• Aids visitors, students and staff as needed and provides assistance.
• Maintains daily shift logs and prepares reports for center management.
• Assists Safety and Security Manager in safety functions and in incident response.
