Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Property Observation in Riverside, CA. You will monitor and protect government facilities, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

Position: Full Time, Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour. Schedule includes Tue–Sat daytime shifts with ongoing responsibilities in access control and incident reporting. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government buildings, parking areas, public-access spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and maintain professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
