Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and document actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas and perimeter locations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and directing visitors when needed.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol observations with a professional presence in a healthcare setting.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, directing visitors, and reporting access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
