Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications site, following security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify concerns.
• Monitor entrances, verify credentials, and direct guests to locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify site contacts.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports with a professional presence in a fast-paced environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Presence in Bristol, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and access‑control issues.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and authorized access in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast‑paced location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
