Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol Operations to monitor and protect client properties as an unarmed patrol officer, including bicycle patrols. You will deliver professional customer service, respond to incidents calmly, and conduct regular patrols.

The role supports a safe, secure environment for diverse clients and communities. Minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience, bike riding ability, HS diploma, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Patrol Operations in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol corporate property, including bicycle patrols, to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
