Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, unarmed) to patrol a corporate site and deliver excellent customer service. You will monitor access, report incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment.

We require a HS diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months security experience, bike ability, and the ability to pass background and drug checks. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities accompany this role.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Field Patrol Customer Service in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a corporate property, including bicycle patrols, to help maintain a professional and welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business location and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, employees, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
