Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Plainfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, access points, parking areas, and shipping/receiving areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
