Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Cullman, AL. This part-time role involves serving clients across technology, media, and telecom locations, patrolling premises, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor access, and complete daily activity reports. Shifts include daytime and weekends; training and career growth opportunities are available via our Earn More platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel according to established protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
