As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Observer in Springfield, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.


• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain appropriate access to restricted areas.


• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
