Job summary

Allied Universal, Mira Loma, CA, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Inspection to monitor and patrol a retail location, deter incidents and provide excellent customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to events, and maintain accurate incident reports in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, completion of background checks, a drug screen, and valid licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents and suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner, following reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed activity and patrol reports and communicate with site management, law enforcement as needed.

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while communicating professionally with site management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
