Job summary

Allied Universal in Justin, TX is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) to monitor and safeguard designated areas at an industrial facility. You will provide excellent customer service, uphold site policies, and respond to incidents with calm problem solving.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, documenting incidents, and communicating with site contacts. A high school diploma and background check are required; driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the industrial facility, warehouse areas, access points, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, property damage, and potential hazards, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
