Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in Baton Rouge, LA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

This full-time role offers a night-oriented schedule, a pay rate of $16.38 per hour, and requires a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a fast-paced technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
