Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer full-time unarmed patrol threat assessment in Shreveport, LA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will conduct regular patrols, verify credentials, respond to incidents, and complete reports, while adhering to site protocols and safety guidelines. Weekly pay is offered with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, office areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site policies, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
