Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Inspection Patrol in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic while supporting compliance with site entry procedures and maintaining accurate activity reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
