As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Response in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will drive to conduct routine patrols across assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols of municipal buildings, public areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned locations, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
