Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Identification in Kansas City, MO. This role involves unarmed patrols at a commercial real estate site, monitoring areas, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service to tenants and visitors.

The position is Full Time with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a client-facing security role.
• Ability to conduct routine and random unarmed patrols.
• Emergency response and incident reporting per site procedures.
• Observe and control access points, assist visitors and vendors.
• Effective communication with tenants, visitors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common spaces, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, assisting with visitor and vendor entry in accordance with established property procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with property management, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when required.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
