Job summary

Allied Universal in Leawood, KS is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver to serve and safeguard clients across commercial real estate locations. You will drive routes, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, completing clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and delivery coordination in accordance with site-specific procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will drive and conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
