Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Identification in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and report observations. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common spaces, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, assisting with visitor and vendor entry in accordance with established property procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with property management, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
