Job summary

Allied Universal in Southaven, MS is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Assessment. You will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff, and deter security incidents with a visible presence.

This full-time role pays $19.00 per hour, with daytime shifts listed, and requires minimum age 18, a high school diploma, a background check, drug screening, and licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and adherence to facility entry procedures while maintaining a professional presence.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
