• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks in accordance with laws are required.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support authorized entry and a professional workplace.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly; document observations and notify relevant personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports of daily activities and patrol findings while maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Patrol CPR Readiness in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support authorized entry and a professional workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
