Job summary

Allied Universal, San Bernardino location, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Facility Inspections to safeguard clients in logistics and distribution sites. The role covers routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing excellent customer service.

Position is Full Time with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. The individual will work a consistent morning schedule and must meet basic requirements including a high school diploma and background check.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and respond to incidents as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarm notifications, and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and shift activities in logs and reports.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. • Mon 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM
• Tue 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM
• Wed 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, access concerns, and alarm notifications in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and shift activities in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
