Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify authorized access; maintain visitor/driver/delivery records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, notifying site contacts and leadership.
• Observe and report security concerns and complete incident documentation, including shift handoffs.

As a Security Officer Patrol Site Awareness in Jurupa Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, complete required activity and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
