Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time patrol duties in Houston, TX. You will safeguard a commercial real estate location, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, reporting incidents, and coordinating with tenants and visitors. A minimum 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma are required; gaurd card/licence is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Experience Required in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide responsive customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
