Allied Universal in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver - Transit to protect riders and facilities across a government transit location. You will drive to conduct patrols, maintain visibility, and provide courteous service while reporting observations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and the reporting of maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations through established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns.
