Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Top Secret Patrol Driver with a DoD Top Secret clearance to protect a critical aerospace/defense site in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves patrolling, access control, and incident response to maintain a secure environment for personnel and operations.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, coordinating with leadership and client representatives, and ensuring policy compliance during shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly document and report observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and parking areas to help identify unauthorized activity, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as needed.

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
