Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer in Huntsville, AL. The role involves patrols at an aerospace and defense site, customer service to personnel and visitors, and enforcing site policies with a strong emphasis on safety and incident response.

You will work Sat and Sun night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, carrying out access control, logs, and timely reporting. A DoD Top Secret clearance is required.

• Deliver customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors following site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly per site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeters.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Pay Rate: $20.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
