Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver for our Clearfield, UT site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while supporting a mission-focused environment.

This role requires a DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of security experience. Build a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, with Sat and Sun night shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen as required by policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
