Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route Verification in Los Angeles, CA. You will drive patrols, deter security incidents, and ensure a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 6 months of security experience, and a high school diploma. A guard card/license is preferred; background checks and a drug screen are part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; driving positions require a license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by following site policies and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial properties, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, contact appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation for Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route Verification in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or other security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
