Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform mobile patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols for a highly controlled operational environment.
• Support ongoing site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, and by preparing clear, accurate incident and activity reports.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
