As a Security Officer - Armed - Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols across a transportation location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card/license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of rail yards, facilities, access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, suspicious activity, and hazardous conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
