Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Residential in Orange, CA. You will perform unarmed vehicle patrols in a residential community, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

This full-time/mix shift role requires a valid driver’s license, prior security experience, and the ability to work a varied schedule. Pay is $21.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns with calm, professional problem-solving; document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with access-control procedures and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, guests and responders to support a welcoming environment.

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, guests, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
