Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Residential in Los Angeles, CA. You will monitor and safeguard residential locations, provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff, and maintain a strong presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident response, and reporting under site policies. Minimum 6 months of security-related experience is required; a guard card or license is preferred, along with high school diploma

• Prefer the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

As a Security Officer Full Time Residential in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
