As a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Shippingport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive access procedures and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tuesday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wednesday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thursday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Friday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while helping to maintain orderly access to restricted and active work areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
