As a Security Officer Patrol Driverin Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time - VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE 1+ YEAR WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED

Pay Rate: $17.08 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and documentation for the manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
