• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in retail areas, entrances, parking zones, and surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor/vendor interactions, and documentation of incidents and daily activity as required.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor interactions, and documentation of incidents and daily activity in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
