Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Whitehall, PA. You will patrol a retail location, deter theft, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a strong security presence. A valid driver’s license and 18+ age (21+ for armed roles) are required.

Shift schedule includes DayTime and evening hours, with full-time status. Competitive pay at $19.00 per hour and benefits are offered, along with opportunities for growth and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, customer interactions, and protection of merchandise and property.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Whitehall, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

3.1 Customer Service Experience (B204)Candidates must demonstrate relevant customer service experience. This can include previous roles in customer-facing positions, internships, or volunteer work that involved direct interaction with customers. Candidates should provide detailed descriptions of their experience in their application materials.

3.2 Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)For positions that require driving as part of the job responsibilities, candidates must possess a valid driver’s license. Candidates are required to submit a copy of their driver’s license during the application process. The following criteria must be met:

• The license must be current and not expired.
• The license must be valid for the type of vehicle required for the position.

What You'll Do:

• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel to help to deter theft and other unwanted activity.
• Assist with access control, customer interactions, and the protection of merchandise and property in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
