Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Westfield, MA. This full-time position requires patrolling, access control, and client service at a manufacturing/industrial site during night shifts.

You will respond to alarms, document activities, and report concerns to leadership. A valid driver's license and background screening are required; 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles may apply.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm problem-solving.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Verify visitor/contractor/employee access according to site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
