As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Terre Haute, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.78 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of mall common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and/or adjacent property to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, property damage, or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
