Pay rate is $16.63 per hour. The position supports part-time hours with potential to move toward full-time schedules, up to 40 hours per week depending on coverage needs.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations subject to federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
