Allied Universal in Somers Point, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare facility. The role combines unarmed patrols, customer service and a visible security presence, with daytime shifts and a driver license required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and reporting of suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, facility personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
