Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Lancaster, OH to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous, responsive customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work varied shifts, and compliance with site policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate activity logs and reports.

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
