Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Knoxville, TN. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols of the retail center, and maintain a visible security presence while adhering to site procedures.

A valid driver’s license is required to support driving duties. The role includes evening shifts, with pay at $17.16 per hour, and opportunities to engage with our Shift Claim platform for additional roles.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, storefronts, and the surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
